I started playing with VSCO Film presets for Lightroom. They have a nice range of subtle to dramatic presets. I was most excited about the “Instagram for Lightroom” effects, but it makes basic color correction easy and fast. Here’s an alternate edit for this this photo. Editing photos is the most painful part of the process for me and the presets helped me do this in seconds. If you feel the same way about editing, you should give VSCO film presets a shot.
Photojojo snagged some ultra rare and super in-demand Sony QX lenses. Naturally, we threw a party so our friends and fans could play with them. I drew illustrations on our chalkboard speech bubbles. We used some in our photo booths and scattered the rest all over our beautiful venue, The Chapel. →
On Halloween, we passed out candy to Trick-Or-Treaters in true Photojojo style. We turned the mystery arm from our best known easter egg into a real life 40 foot long candy dispenser.
Last weekend, some friends and I drove down to Oceanside for a century ride. Southern California is a different place. It’s the California from the movies. A sunny sprawl captured in long sweeping shots by cameras in helicopters. It’s not the California that sucker punches you with fog and icy wind.
